A cult wine that embodies authentic luxury, timeless elegance, and the artisanal excellence of Rioja
With a renewed and timeless identity, Gaudium 2021 reaffirms its status as a symbol of authentic luxury in the world of wine. Its elegant black label, featuring a modern reinterpretation of Bacchus, reflects the wisdom, legacy, and authenticity that define Marqués de Cáceres.
The wine is crafted from old vineyards over 70 years of age, with yields below one kilo per vine, and an artisanal winemaking process built on precision, patience, and respect for the terroir. Its ageing—18 months in new French oak barrels followed by two years of bottle refinement—culminates in a wine that achieves a perfect balance between power and delicacy.
The release of this vintage coincides with an exceptional year for the winery: Marqués de Cáceres has been recognized among the 50 most admired wine brands in the world (position 18), its winemaker Fernando Costa is listed among the top 100 winemakers globally, and its president Cristina Forner has received the Lifetime Achievement Award of La Rioja.
